Our Dry Bones The Center for Jewish History; Bronfman Student Artists Fellowship
Creator and Performer
Guidance by Liz Swados; Asst. Directing Emily Hammerman; Photos Travis Sawyer

A ten minute solo object-puppetry piece, based on The Prophecy of the Dry Bones from the book of Ezekiel. The original prophecy speaks of bones coming back to life as a metaphor for the people of Israel returning to worshipping god instead of idols; this piece explores what our dry bones are - we need to return from our dry and estranging methods of communication and technology to something more tactile and visceral.
